Many of you have been advised that the newly organized Public Safety Alliance of Nevada is replacing the Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition which NAPSO helped to create and which has lobbied successfully for all statewide law enforcement interests for the past two legislative sessions.  This is not correct.  In fact, a few law enforcement associations simply decided to leave the Coalition and form their own group.  The Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition remains alive and well.  

Some have asked if this new Alliance is a scam and have shown concern about dealing with them since their departure from the successful Coalition comes when law enforcement unity is critical in these uneasy times.  Rest assured they are not a scam and we do not look at them as a competitor.  We hope that their interests remain the same as they were when they were part of the Coalition.  Time will tell for them. 

The Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition remains a vital part of law enforcement representation and political activism across the state and it continues to be composed of law enforcement groups in all counties in Nevada.  Take a look at the "NAPSO Member Associations" in the click down at the top of this page and you'll see how comprehensive NAPSO's membership is throught Nevada -- and it's growing !!
